So far, I've worn mine several times for up to an hour or more. Depending on how tight the straps are and how far the adjustment knob is turned, it can cause pain and temporary numbing, particularly of the big toe’s bunion joint. But, to me, it's a "good" pain, because after taking it off and relaxing for a few minutes, the pain subsides and I feel like there's a little more mobility in it.
